Most common Questions

What is behavioral diagnostics?

Behavioral diagnostics is the systematic observation, measurement, and evaluation of behavior in defined situations. Unlike traditional personality diagnostics, which are based on questionnaires and self-reports, behavioral diagnostics focuses on actual behavior – how people act in real or simulated situations. This makes it possible to objectively identify patterns, strengths, and risks and align them with the requirements of a role, a team, or an organization.

Which methodology does AM Academy use?

We apply a multi-step, proprietary approach:

  • Semi-structured interviews to capture relevant behavioral patterns

  • Systematic observation & coding of behavior in key situations

  • BPFS Core – the baseline module to measure stable behavioral patterns and their impact on leadership, collaboration, and decision-making

  • BPFS Select – the advanced module for (critical) selection processes, directly matching behavior with role and organizational requirements

  • Scoring models to calculate the Behavioral Predictive Fit Score (BPFS)

  • Tailored recommendations, aligned with the specific organizational context

This creates an objective, valid, and practice-oriented decision-making foundation that goes beyond traditional diagnostics.

What is Socionics – and why do you use it?

Socionics is a scientifically grounded model that shows how people process information, make decisions, and interact with others.
At AM Academy Group, we use it to add an explanatory layer to behavioral diagnostics: we don’t just see how someone acts in critical situations – we also understand why.
This combination makes our assessments more precise, reliable, and resistant to bias than traditional methods.

In which situations is the methodology applied?

Our methodology is applied wherever leadership and stability are critical:

  • in executive search processes, to avoid mis-hires

  • in succession planning

  • in leadership development programs

  • in stabilizing leadership teams during transformation phases

How does AM Academy differ from traditional personality tests?

Personality tests rely on self-reports – and therefore on subjective representation. Our approach focuses on observable behavior. This provides a more objective and practice-oriented picture that is not distorted by wishful thinking or social desirability.

How long does a process take?

The duration depends on scope and requirements:

  • Individual assessments: results and feedback within 48 hours

  • Standard projects (e.g., selection processes, leadership diagnostics): usually 1–2 weeks

  • More complex team or governance analyses: slightly longer, but always within a clearly defined timeframe

Our commitment: delivering results that are fast, precise, and reliable – enabling immediate action.

What concrete benefits does my company gain?

You gain greater decision-making certainty, avoid mis-hires, strengthen the retention and development of talent, and create more stability in key positions. This reduces turnover costs and sustainably increases performance.

Do you still work as a headhunter?

Our primary focus is on diagnostics and advisory – helping organizations make behavior visible and enabling sound decisions for leadership and key roles.

In selective cases, such as highly sensitive or particularly critical positions, we also take on direct executive search. What sets us apart: we combine the search with scientifically grounded behavioral diagnostics, ensuring not only professional qualification but also cultural and behavioral fit.

This creates a solution that goes beyond traditional headhunting – focused, practice-driven, and sustainably effective.

How do you ensure data protection and confidentiality?

All data are treated strictly confidentially and used exclusively for the agreed purpose. We operate in accordance with GDPR requirements and place the highest value on transparency and integrity in handling sensitive information.
